"When eating a meal don't drink more than 4-6 ounces of
water/fluid with your meal. Too much water will dilute your stomach acid and make it harder for your food to get broken down (digested) in a timely
manner.
The way we combine our foods is important too. Ideally we shouldn't eat fruits with our meals...especially a meal containing protein and fats.
Fruits, especially melons, digest very quickly. When combined with the proteins and fats, this will create gas in our stomach which will result in
belching, bloating and discomfort. So eat your fruit either a half hour before your meal or an hour after your meal."
