High Blood Pressure? -- Natural Remedies to Lower Blood Pressure

" Do you have high blood pressure?  Here are some natural remedies that can help lower your blood pressure.

Garlic.  This herb is an effective agent for lowering blood pressure as well as cholesterol and triglyceride levels.  It also thins blood and has a strong antimicrobial and antifungal properties.  It must be eaten raw or lightly sauted to retain its potency.  For the health of your heart I suggest you use 1 to 2 cloves a day.

Ginger.  Helps to increase circulation, thin blood and lower both blood pressure and cholesterol.  Ginger is also a great anti-inflammatory, anti-nausea remedy and digestive aide.

Hawthorne berry.  This can be eaten as a berry or drank as a tea.  Hawthorne helps to regulate the contractions of the heart, strengthens the blood vessels, and dilates blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.

Lavender.  To help calm the nervous system and relax the mind.  Helps reduce stress. Can be drank as a tea or used as an essential oil in a diffuser in your house.

Melissa.   Also known as Lemon balm.  It's used to treat heart palpitations resulting from depression or agitated nerves.  Melissa is used in a lot of herbal formulas to treat high blood pressure and has soothing effects on the nervous system.
