"There is a lot of talk out
there in the media about
memory problems, dementia
and Alzheimers.
Unfortunately once you
develop Alzheimers disease
it is not reversible.
Before we ever get to that
point and to try and prevent
it altogether, here are some
tips to help your memory.
1. Get your thyroid and
adrenals checked. Both of
of these endocrine organs
are vital in the proper
function of our memories. I
have heard several patients
tell me how bad their memory
has been then we find out
they are hypothyroid and
have low adrenal function
too.
2. Get some good sleep.
Sleep is vitally important
for memory as well as all
healing in the body. If cortisol
(an adrenal hormone) is high
at night it will affect sleep
and therefore will affect
memory.
3.
There are many different herbs
and supplements for memory and
they work differently and with
different effectiveness.
Just
working on the first 2 things
will be a great start!!"
