Dr. Juntaphant is a licensed naturopathic
physician and a primary care physician in Washington state. She
obtained a bachelor degree of science (biochemistry major) from the
University of Washington prior to completing her doctoral degree in
naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University.
Dr. Juntaphant
was in three car accidents in her early 20’s. After the third car
accident, she was told by many healthcare providers that she would
have to live with chronic pain for the rest of her life. She was
frustrated and depressed when she thought that she would have to rely
on pain medications for the rest of her life. However, after suffered
from major life changing event and chronic pains for 5 years, she
found naturopathic medicine. She learned from being a patient herself
that natural modalities including diet & life style modifications,
therapeutic exercises and nutritional supplements helped her
tremendously. Now, in her early 30’s, Dr. Juntaphant no longer suffers
from chronic pains. Her health and well-being as a whole person
improved as a result of naturopathic medicine. Dealing with chronic
pain first hand makes Dr. Juntaphant becomes passionate about
naturopathic medicine, holistic medicine and helping others finding
ways to deal with chronic illnesses.
Dr. Juntaphant doesn’t
look at each physical symptom as a separate entity. She believes that
she can help facilitate the healing process each person has best if
she understands each patient as a whole person before treating any
symptom for her patient. Thus, she takes her time to interview each
patient before she plans out a treatment plan for each patient.
Her goal as a naturopathic physician and primary care physician is
not to give drug to suppress any symptom temporarily. Dr. Juntaphant
believes in holistic medicine. She will try her best to help patient
find the root causes of his/her symptoms and use natural modalities to
deal with pain and illness before she prescribe any pharmaceutical
drug.
Services include manual therapy (massage, manual
manipulations to spine, aromatherapy), annual preventative exams,
primary care medicine, laboratory testing, botanical medicine and much
