Nupur is an occupational
therapist and certified Bowenwork practitioner who strives to
promote healing and wellness using gentle manipulation
techniques. Having worked in diverse and varied settings, she
values the importance of taking a holistic approach to
recognize each individual client’s needs.
She is
dedicated to help her clients in their recovery especially
those who are learning to live and cope with chronic pain. She
has vast experience working with children with special needs,
as well as adults, and she really enjoys working with people
from all spans of life. She is passionate about making a
difference in the lives of others and is motivated in helping
clients recognize their rehab potential and returning to
meaningful occupations in all facets of their lives.
She is dedicated to professional development and continues to
be a life long learner, and has had the opportunity to take
courses in various manual therapy techniques and healing
modalities. She incorporates principles of manual therapy,
postural alignment, body mechanics, environmental adaptations,
activity modifications and individualized exercise programs to
improve function and participation in daily activities.
Nupur
got her bachelors in occupational therapy in 1995 from the
University of Zimbabwe and an Advanced Masters in Occupational
Therapy from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She
has a diverse work history including acute care OT in
hospitals, in-patient rehabilitation, home health, a sensory
motor therapy center, as well as skilled nursing facilities.
Additionally, she is certified to practice Bowenwork and
Ligament Induced Fascial Technique (LIFT).
